In an exciting development, Kayonza Deaf-blind School has welcomed a new volunteer to its
team, further reinforcing our commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities through educational programs, vocational training, and community outreach. Takako Katsumura, a dedicated volunteer from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has recently
joined hands with our organization.
Takako Katsumura’s role at Kayonza Deaf-blind School, in partnership with Friends of Human Rights (FHR), is a testament to our unwavering dedication to creating a community in which people with disabilities can grow their talents, share the love of God, and build a future full of opportunities. She brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to our educational initiatives,
vocational training programs, and community outreach efforts. Over the course of her one-year-and-six-month tenure with FHR, Takako will play a vital role in teaching students, conducting educational workshops, and actively engaging in outreach activities. Her presence will undoubtedly enrich the lives of the students and the wider community, fostering an environment where individuals with disabilities can thrive, learn, and contribute to society.
At Kayonza Deaf-blind School and FHR, we are deeply grateful for the support and dedication of individuals like Takako Katsumura. This collaboration exemplifies our shared vision and commitment to creating a world where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can embrace
their full potential and build a brighter future together. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of Takako’s involvement and the continued growth of our inclusive community.
